Terms of Service
Please read these terms carefully before using MyPDFtoExcel. By using our Service, you agree to be bound by these terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using MyPDFtoExcel (“the Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Service. These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access the Service.
2. Description of Service
MyPDFtoExcel is an AI-powered document conversion service that transforms PDF bank statements into organized Excel spreadsheets. The Service includes:
- PDF to Excel conversion with automatic transaction categorization (SmartSort™)
- Support for 50+ bank statement formats
- QuickBooks and Xero-compatible export (Pro and Business plans)
- Monthly spending summaries and charts (Pro and Business plans)
- API access (Business plan)
3. Accounts & Plans
3.1 Free Plan
The Free plan allows up to 3 PDF conversions per calendar month without creating an account. Free conversions include basic Excel export and automatic categorization.
3.2 Pro Plan
The Pro plan is a monthly subscription at $12/month that provides unlimited conversions, advanced export formats, charts, and email support. Your subscription renews automatically each month until you cancel.
3.3 Business Plan
The Business plan is a monthly subscription at $29/month providing team accounts (up to 10), API access, custom categories, and priority support with an SLA guarantee.
3.4 Account Responsibility
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You agree to notify us immediately at hello@mypdftoexcel.com of any unauthorized use of your account.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes. You must not:
- Upload files that you do not have legal right to process
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the AI model or conversion logic
- Use automated scripts to abuse the Free plan conversion limits
- Resell or sublicense the Service without our written permission
- Upload files containing malware, viruses, or malicious code
- Use the Service to process documents belonging to others without their consent
5. Payments & Cancellation
5.1 Billing
Paid plans are billed monthly in advance. All prices are in USD. Payment is processed securely through Stripe. We never store your full payment card details.
5.2 Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You retain full access until then — no partial refunds are issued for unused time.
5.3 Refunds
If you experience a technical failure on our part that prevents you from converting a document, contact us within 7 days and we will issue a credit or refund at our discretion.
Note: We do not offer refunds for conversions that were completed successfully but produced unexpected results due to unusual PDF formatting. We encourage you to test with the Free plan before upgrading.
6. Intellectual Property
The Service and its original content (excluding files you upload), features, and functionality are owned by MyPDFtoExcel and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
You retain full ownership of both the PDF files you upload and the Excel files we generate for you. We claim no rights over your financial data or converted output.
7. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided on an “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” basis. We make no warranties, expressed or implied, regarding the accuracy, reliability, or completeness of any converted output. Conversion accuracy depends on the quality and format of the source PDF.
Always verify converted data before using it for financial decisions, tax filings, or accounting purposes.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, MyPDFtoExcel shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or business opportunities.
Our total liability to you for any claims arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 3 months preceding the claim.
9. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless MyPDFtoExcel from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable attorney's fees) arising from your violation of these Terms or your misuse of the Service.
10. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at our sole discretion, without notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Sections 6, 7, 8, and 9 survive termination.
11. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes via email (if you have an account) at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Delaware.
